Hi!

I recently tried to select results for a given time step by using a selection by expression, such as: h > 0.01 && h < 1 && v > 0,2.
To export this selection, I did File/Export/Exporter les résultats, I selected ERSI shp format, and in the final dialog box, I only selected Nodes, the variables h and V and the time step for which I made the selection. And in Filters, I chose "Export only selected objects".

This export does not seems to work because certain values for H and V in my shp file do not match my selection criteria (there are more points are exported than those being selected by the expression). Is there a way to export a selection of results for a given time step? Are such expressions with several boolean tests supported?

Finally, I would like to know if it would be possible in a next release to add the operator "Sum" for computing a new variable of an existing one (4th type of variable). That would be very useful.

Thanks in advance!
Regards

Hello,

Sorry for the late answer. It looks like FUDAA question would be better posted on the FUDAA site ..., you can check out the FUDAA website and forum at :
www.cetmef.developpement-durable.gouv.fr...-ressources-a20.html

They should be able to help.

Note that you are describing calculation that are usually done within a GIS system. I am not sure FUDAA is a GIS system. Maybe you could investigate QGIS instead, even though we do not provide support / compatibility for that software (you would have to do the file conversion).

Hope this helps,
Sébastien.

Hi,
news ....
we will integrate the new operator soon as possible for the beginning of the year 2014.

For the key-word EQUATIONS, in the dictionnary, in french it's "SAINT-VENANT EF" and in english it's "SAINT VENANT FE". Are you agree ?

Best regards

sorry for my late response

I would like to test it. Is it possible to send me your case ? (all files to reproduce the bug.
if not, I will test on one of my cases.

Best regards

Hi!

Thank you for your reply.

In the dico file, there is:

NOM = 'EQUATIONS'
NOM1 = 'EQUATIONS'
TYPE = CARACTERE
INDEX = 36
MNEMO = 'EQUA'
DEFAUT = 'SAINT-VENANT EF'
DEFAUT1 = 'SAINT-VENANT EF'
CHOIX = '"SAINT-VENANT EF"';'"SAINT-VENANT VF"';'"BOUSSINESQ"'
CHOIX1 = '"SAINT-VENANT EF"';'"SAINT-VENANT VF"';'"BOUSSINESQ"'

So I assume that the english and french values are the same : 'SAINT-VENANT EF'. Or am I missing something? As I said before, the problem only occurs with version v6p3. If I choose to open the project with the v6p2 dictionnary, then it works.

I am attaching some example files. I am using fudaa 1.3RC3 (the latest release on sourceforge).

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Best regards
