Hi there,

I'm using prepro version 1.2 with the latest version of telemac. When I tried to launch an example, I get this error:

lancement de cmd.exe
/C
"start /wait /max telemac2d.bat t2d_dambreak_v2p0_1.cas" dans C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\examples\telemac2d\dambreak
Le syst`me ne peut trouver le fichier telemac2d.bat.
runtime exception

Any suggestion to make it work?

Thanks!

Hello,

It looks like you have configured FUDAA to run the Perl version of the TELEMAC-MASCARET system. I am not a FUDAA expert, but can you configure it with the Python scripts instead ? ... and try again running your cases.

Sébastien.

I've search the different options of FUDAA, and I havn't find this option. Under Edition>Préférences>Système de modélisation>Télémac, one can enter a directory where a .exe is located.

1) Where is the .exe I should use?
2) Is there any differences between .exe used by the Python and Perl scripts?
3) What is the role of those scripts?

Sorry for my ignorance...

hello,

First, you say you use the version 1.2 of Fudaa-prepro. You can use the latest version by downloading under sourceforge.net/projects/fudaa/files/prepro/. The last version, this is 1.3RC3.

I send you a picture with the different windows where you give the directory of a script to run telemac when you activate the menu Edition/Prefrences

for you, you can use one of them : perl or python script. You just must to choice the good répertory in the telemac system package where the script is.

I hope this will help youyou

Thanks rouge,

it worked. I've set the path to : "C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27". However, it led me to another error: when the console (of telemac) appears, it writes:

Not able to get the configuration file: c:opentelemacv6p3configssystel.cis-winxp.cfg

... in directory : C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\exemples\telemac2d\dambreak
... use instead:

And then everything stops.

Do you know what is that configuration file and where it should be?

Thanks!

Hello

your problem is probably about the environment variable "SYSTELCFG"

You must initialize the variable "SYSTELCFG" equal to opentelemacv6p3configssystel.cis-winxp.cfg with the full path

Humm...

My configuration had:
SYSTELCFG pointed on
C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\configs\systel.cfg

I did not have the file "opentelemacv6p3configssystel.cis-winxp.cfg".

I've tried to copy paste the "systel.cis-windows7.cfg" file and change its name to "opentelemacv6p3configssystel.cis-winxp.cfg", and make SYSTELCFG point on it. I have the same error.

However, it seems I should put that config file into the directory of my .CAS file?
