Hi,

I am trying to run Telemac2d through fudaa - no problems are reported when I load the .cas file, but the error message pops up when I try to launch the computation: "Windows cannot find 'telemac2d.bat'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again'

Has anyone encountered this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best,
Alex

Hi
In order to run Telemac directly from fudaa you have to configure fudaa in order to define the location of telemac scripts etc...

Did you do that?
If so, could you post the details if this configuration?

Hi,

I have tried that but it didn't work. When I go to "Edition -> Preferences -> Modelling system -> Telemac -> Add" and add the "opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3\scripts\python27" folder, but I receive an error message: "It's not a Telemac binaries folder."

Have you encountered this before?

On a slightly unrelated topic, I am considering running Telemac directly through command prompt and just use Fudaa to build the case file...but when I create a new Telemac project, it requires that I enter in a Steering file, yet this is what I'm trying to build. Do you know of a way around this perhaps?

Thank you so much for your help! I understand this must be quite the hassle.

Regards,
Alex

Hi
I've heard about such problem. As I don't use fudaa to launch my computation, I never faced it.
Just use fudaa to create your steering file and save it.
Run the simulation directly from a cmd windows.

After the run, you could use fudaa to vizualise the result

Hi,

Thank you for your reply! That was really helpful. A quick follow up - I'm not very familiar with Fudaa, using it to create a steering file, or using it to visualize the result. Are there any introduction/manuals out there that you might know of, or do you know much about these functions?

Best regards,
Alex
