this is strange because it works well on my W7 64bits computer
I obtain this result in the command windows
c:\DONNEES\Etudes>matisse
Lecture du fichier 'config\MatisRubens.ini'...  OK
Lecture du fichier 'c:\LOGICIELS\TELEMAC\V5P7\config\sysprot.ini'...
Creation des variables d'environnement     ...  OK

Tasklist method rubens.exe : mytmp=
Erreur : Le filtre de recherche n'est pas reconnu.

Tasklist method rubens*32.exe : mytmp=

Grep method rubens : mytmp=
Verif absence de Rubens                    ...  OK (not running)

Lancement de  Rubens                       ...
Tasklist method rubens.exe : mytmp=PID:                 7164

 OK (pid=                7164
)
Lancement de  Matisse    ...

Please kill all rubens process on your computer and check the bin\temp directory is empty
Then try again to launch matisse
After the error message, type tasklist to obtain the list of process and copy the result

Dear all!
first , thank c.coulet and all for quickly ans my matisse problem. In my computer i have just uninstall virtual driver program and matisse works well.
So if your computer has installed virtual driver, please try uninstall it. I can not explain what are reasons. But in my case, matisse works. I hope this information could be useful for some one still have trouble with matisse.

after uninstall virtual driver program, my matisse works well. I can not explain reasons. But i hope it is useful information for some one have trouble with matisse. thank C.coulet and alls for quickly responsibility quickly

Hello,
I have the same problem. I followed the line indicated above (ensure there is a temp file and that it is empty, etc.), I download the version indicated above as well. But my computer does not get the PID of rubens (when I open rubens and launch matisse, it is written all the same :
Verif absence de Rubens ... OK (not running)

I don't know what is a virtual driver program.
I couln't install Telemac with perl. After many tries, I have used Python.

Should I forget about matisse and learn BlueKenue ?

Hi
It's probably better to start to use Blue Kenue instead of Matisse particularly due to the lack of friendly interface in Matisse.
Nevertheless, the mesh generation algorithm in Matisse is more powerful than Blue Kenue (especially in the over constraint area).

For your problem, i think you should first make a test from a simple location in your computer. You should avoid space in the directory name...
