R.Wei OFFLINE Junior Boarder Posts: 33 Thank you received: 7	Dear telemac fellows, There are some files named ‘f2d_XX.slf‘ in $HOMETEL/examples, and it seems those files are one frame of output selafin file. Is there any recommended tool to obtain such files? Can we extract one frame of selafin file with respect to one certain variable? Regards, R.W

Hello,
Indeed, you have the possibility to extract quite easily a specific frame from a selafin file using the scripts provided with telemac.
You can use the function alter from run_telfile.py and you can get all the options of the function with "run_telfile.py alter --help" in your terminal.

A longer description is given in the notebooks in the pretel section.
