# restart mode

Hi,

If I use a previous computation file, does that override whatever I have set up in user\_condi3d\_trac?

Hello,

If you have a look at telemac3d\_init.F, you can see that CONDIM subroutine (which calls USER\_CONDI3D\_TRAC) is called before the call to READ\_DATASET for the PREVIOUS COMPUTATION FILE (T3DPRE).

If the PREVIOUS COMPUTATION FILE includes tracer(s), TELEMAC-3D reads the values of this/these tracer(s) and what was done in USER\_CONDI3D\_TRAC is overwritten for this/these tracer(s).
