Coming to EDF R&D Saclay:

We are planning for dedicated buses between EDF R&D and Gare RER/TGV Massy-Palaiseau at set times in the morning and evening of the conference. In addition, there are public busses between EDF R&D and Gare Massy-Palaiseau for the RER/TGV, trip duration around 15 min. There are also private busses between EDF R&D and the metro-lines (Porte d'Orléans in Paris), trip duration between 45 and 60 min, but the RER is probably a better/faster option if you have to go to Paris centre. The closest airport is Paris-Orly Airport, from which you can take the Orlyval to Antony and then onto RER-B. RER-B also goes to Gare du Nord for the Eurostar.

We recommend that you stay in Massy-Palaiseau where a wide range of local hotels are available. None recommended more than any other.
