Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for your response!

Unfortunately, I cannot see your attachment, but I assume that you may be referring to the approach I am currently using, which involves writing a shell script (as shown in the screenshot). While this method allows me to run the simulation successfully, I still cannot take advantage of PyCharm's debugging features, which would make it more convenient for me to troubleshoot any issues in the code. This is where my confusion lies. I am wondering if you have any insights or suggestions regarding this matter.

With sincere regards.

WSY

Hello,

Maybe the ".sh" file ending blocked my file from appearing - here it is again with an additional ".txt" at the end that you need to remove for turning it back into a bash script:

File Attachment:

File Name: activateHBCtelemac.sh.txt
File Size: 1 KB

If it is just for debugging, you may want to try pdb in Terminal after loading the two environments, for instance:

$ python -m pdb my_code.py

There's also good documentation available: docs.python.org/3/library/pdb.html

Best,
Sebastian
