Now the next error appears, when I'm running your steering file:================================================================================

Okay the error is appears because I changed the friction law! Can someone explain why I cannot use the strickler friction law?

Hello,

I'm at the point, that the stage-discharge-curve is a part of my simulation.

Now the problem is that the water at the inlet is not flowing into the channel. The water discharge stays at the inlet (see attached a picture of it) and the water level at this point increase.
Please look attached for my new steering file, liquid boundaries file and stage-discharge-curve.

When I'm looking at fluxes of Telemac I see that the flux at the outlet vary from a positive to a negative discharge and back.

Please, can someone tell me why the water stays at the inlet? And how I can change that?

Hi
According to your steering file your simulation duration is 200s.
Maybe it's too short...

I would suggest you to first start playing with an existing model to well understand the different parameters (Initial and boundary condition, friction, ...).
You are focused to run your own case but your mesh seems very fine so this means longer computation...

There is a lot of example available with the telemac installation, more or less complex. Once at least concern Donau river. I think this case as probably some similarities with yours...

regards
Christophe
