open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello Telemac user,
I am simulating the saltwater intrusion problem with Telemac2D, version V8p4. The simulation gives reasonably good results (version with 1 tracer). However, my simulation becomes unstable when I include siphons in the domain (all other factors remaining constant). Does anyone have a similar problem and please suggest a fix? Could you retry with V8P5 as this version brings a lot of fixes to buse.f routine ?

Best would be to compile v8p5. You will not get any further support from this forum if you keep using old versions.

I noticed that the file you sent me buse.f V8p4 (not V8p5?) is exactly the same as the buse.f file of the version I am using (V8p4).
Is the buse.f file you sent from Telemac2d version V8p5 as you said above? Note that my simulation runs well when simulating saltwater intrusion (without siphon) and also runs well when simulating with siphon without saltwater intrusion.

Describe 'become unstable'. Explain what is wrong (high velocities, unrealistic water elevation, NaN values, ...)
