Hi Riadh,
Thanks for this but there is still an issue as my domain is very large, so no matter where I shift it some coordinates will always have at least 5 numbers before the decimal place.
Is there any other way around this or is getting a double precision mesh using python the only solution?

I personnaly don't know how to get double precision unless the use of Janet.
You can use Janet (with the trial licence which is free)
