I rectified, what you are suggested me to do, but now strongly i can't run my tomawac model, i have a error message like this:

It's very strang, i also tried to run the my old steering file of TOMAWAC (which was renuning before) but i had the same error.

What i can do to solve this problem.I also tried to run it in another computer. The example run but my steering file don't work.

Dear Yasmina,

This could mean that TOMAWAC-ARTEMIS chaining works but you may have a problem in your mesh. If you can upload your project, we can have a look.

Dear COSTAS,

First realy thank you for your quick reply and your help.

1-I don't know if i can share the project, i will ask the responsable. However, tomawac run now, i don't know what was the problem, but i just use another steering file wich worked before for the same mesh.

2- I followed your advices for the chaining TOMAWAC and ARTEMIS, so the correction of the frequency is succesful because i have INDF=1. Now i have another problem with the direction, i know that i must have the direction of artemis under the interval of direction descitisation of TOMAWAC, now i have INDD=0 wich mean that the condition is not respected.
I supposed that maybe i must use the keyword of TRIGONOMETRICAL CONVENTION = YES?. I thinked that maybe in the chaining we should have the same axes origin of direction (the axes X for ARTEMIS and TOMAWAC).

What do you think COSTAS, i had take prinicpal direction of 135 in tomawac and 315 in ARTEMIS.

I attached the steering file for ARTEMIS and TOMAWAC.

No, it is not necessary to set TRIGONOMETRICAL CONVENTION = YES. You have set the directions fine between TOM and ART. However, a direction range of 310-320 is too narrow. It don't know if it can cause errors, but it is unrealistic. It becomes monodirectional wave propagation. Start with an interval say 180 deg and go narrower if your model permits.

Post the error output for more information.

Okay! if i set a good values of directions between TOM and ART, the cause of problem is maybe the result, when i checked the result i found that i didn't launch the simulation for an important time which allows the propagation of the wave. Briefely i had noticed that the wave don't reach the boudary of the smallest model. So i have no data in this points and in the spectral file. Maybe it is the reason of the problem, i launched another simulation with an important time step.

Hello,

I was launched the simulation for a long time but i have also the same problems, the punctual result file is zero.

I don't know now the cause of this troubl of the punctual result file. Before it's was done perfectly.

Now my simulation and the chaining of TOMAWAC-ARTEMIS works!!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

The problem focused on the instant for reading TOMAWAC spectrum, it's must be the last instant of the simulation in TOMAWAC.

Dear Costas,

yeah my simulation workes but without result.

When i tri to see the result in blukenue, i didn't have any variable and in the begenning of the importing file i had a message warning in Bluekenue.

I attached my fortran file and the steering file of ARTEMIS and TOMAWAC.

Hope that you can help me to take an issu for this.
I didnt find an output of the simulation in ARTEMIS.
