If you are using last version (v8p4) you can now give a text file that defines a polygon where vegetation is activated.

The keyword is "FILE WITH DEFINITION OF POLYGONS".

The example of dean contains only one polygon with 4 points, but the file can contain n polygons with as many points as you want.

You can see how to use it in the user documentation sections 4.3.9 7.2.8

no need of user fortran anymore
