TOPIC: how to make boundary conditions

I read the forum about boundaries but I'm still confused.

In my case, I have about :
- a square in which two sides are coasts.
- the wave conditions I want to propagate are located in the corner
- bathymetry is varying along both liquid boundaries
- wave direction is along west

I have more bathymetry up north but not west.
Is it even possible to simulate ?

Thank you,
Pauline

Hello,

Well in your case there is only one liquid boundary, but if the wave is known only at the corner you will miss the elevation at other points of the boundary. Basically it can run by prescribing the elevation at every point of your liquid boundary. Thompson boundary conditions may help if you have problems. Make sure that every point where you prescribe elevation has a positive and not too small depth.

With best regards,
