Hi everyone,

Maybe I have to come back this topic for more several times as I have not solved my problem yet :(

Regarding wave at the boundary, I use a Fortran file posted by PAT on #16205 to read my wave file. I have run a simple case with only wave inputs. There is no error with that Fortran subroutine.

However, I got very weird results in terms of Hm0 (Please look a graph below).

So I think the problem I got looks like the same as Charlotta's case before. I have read a lot on this forum to find the solution, but I stuck!

Could someone have a look on my steering file (I also attach here) and help me to solve it out.

Thanks for your great support and discussion.

Best Regards

Huy

Hello,

I tried to use this procedure for V7p2 but it does not work. Maybe some keywords have changed.
This is the error message I get when I try to run the code.
wacfort.f(102): error #6401: The attributes of this name conflict with those made accessible by a USE statement. [LNG]
      INTEGER LNG,LU

Has someone already experience of using wave series at the boundary in V7?

Regards,
Clemens

Hello

I do not see clearly what procedure you refer too but the message you mention seems to correspond to a case where you mixte a fortran file written for an old version and version V7P2.
Try to comment the line "integer lng,lu" in V7P2 it is included in declaration special

Hello,

I used the attached fortan file which is posted earlier in this thread. Since I have no experience in working with .f files I did not changed anything.
I hope I understand you correct, if yes the INTEGER LNG, LU can be found on line 102 in the .f file.

Regards,
Clemens

Comment or delete the two lines

INTEGER LNG,LU
COMMON/INFO/LNG,LU

those lines mustn't be in fortran file anymore since they are included in declaration_speciale since version 7P2

We do not have the same error but the problem is probably from your mesh. Some triangles are over constrainted. I put a circle on some of them in the file attached
