Dear TELEMAC users,

We extend our gratitude for your valuable contributions to the TELEMAC community and the advancement of science.

I recently installed the TELEMAC V8V4 system using the automatic installer. However, I am encountering difficulties when executing example files requiring referencing user_fortran.

Specifically, when attempting to execute the following example:

C:\TELEMAC\examples\gaia\bump-t2d

The calculation halts, accompanied by the error attached herein.

Could you kindly guide me in resolving this issue?

Thank you.

Hi
I don't think it's a problem linked to user_fortran...
Sounds like a problem of illegal character in steering file which is unsupported by python
Maybe you could try to remove the comment lines at the beginning and see what happens...

Hope this helps
Christophe

Dear c.coulet,

Thank you so much for your kind and quick reply.
Though I tried to remove the comment lines at the beginning, I was unable to proceed calculation with the error message suggested in the attached file.

attached files are example files I edited following your comments.

TELEMAC seems to be installed in "C:/Program Files". Currently, TELEMAX does not support installation in path that contains a space.
You need to reinstall in a directory without space in path.

Dear nicogodet,

Thank you for your kind reply.

I have installed the Telemac at the following address.
C:\TELEMAC\examples\gaia\bump-t2d

That is, I installed Telemac on the C drive directly, not in the program files.
Some forum discussions have pointed out problems with 'spaces', but mine seems to be a little different.
Thank you for your comment again.

I appreciate your comment, and sorry for your inconvenience.
I completely understand what you suggested finally.

I checked again the address where the telemac was installed, and I found that telemac is installed in program files.

Thank you again.

Best regard
Ryota
