Did someone solve this problem yet?

I reinstalled telemac at another windows7 workstation and although compilation of serial and parallel configuration was successful, when I try to run telemac using:
- telemac2d.py test.cas
- runcode.py telemac2d test.cas

I always get directed to the menu as shown in the screenshot on the previous site, asking to set configuration. However when I set the configuraion using -c the same screen appears??

I used the automatic installer and then followed:

I also used the above method to define the python path and the systel path.

Attached I send the configuration file(SYSTEL.cfg).

Did anyone encounter this problem already?

not sure but as the python scripts and the configuration file evolved between versions, maybe this could be related to your use of an old version (I saw 6.3)
Try to install and run the latest version

Thank you for your fast reply, I also compiled it with the same configuration file with v7p0r1 and v7p1, with the same result.

I also tried compiling it with a different configuration I used at the other windows7 workstation and also had the same screen when running Telemac2d.

For Pyhton I use the Anaconda distribution

Do you maybe have any ideas what could be the problem, or how to solve it??

Could you confirm that your problem is you obtain allways the help message?
Which is the python version with your anaconda distrib?

Thank you for the fast reply.

I get the message, that "the name of the module run and one CAS file is required", which ends with the help message. See screen shot attached

The python version is:
Python 2.7.11 :: Anaconda 4.0.0 (64bit)

The problems should comes from the python version.
Mine is 2.7.5 and it seems to me that telemac doesn't work with version higher thant 2.7.8...

Could you downgrade your python version an test?

I now recompiled it using Python 2.7.5,.. and I get the same problem,...

Could it linked to the environmental variables(python path and systel) set in cmd-window??

are there any more options I could try??

Dear Christian,

Try to temporary remove all the paths related of Anaconda in the PATH system variable, both user and system paths.

I remember reinstalling Anaconda and un-checking the option to register anaconda python in the PATH variable in my windows machine, and leaving only the python distribution that was installed in c:/opentelemac-mascaret as the default one...

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I uninstalled Anaconda and now only installed the python 2.7.5 version which comes with the automatic installer,..

I associated the *.py files with the right executable(../telemac/python27), and removed remaining Anaconda registry entries per hand,...

Unfortunately still the same result??? I think it is very strange?
Any suggestions?
