Hello,

I have just committed a fix for the trunk and branch v7p2. You can fin enclosed the patch for v7p2.

If using the k-epsilon model in the horizontal direction and changing the MIXING LENGTH MODEL from 3 (Nezu and Nakagawa) to 1 (Prandtl) and the DAMPING FUNCTION from 3 (Munk and Anderson) to 2 (Viollet), the results better fit the measurements in the Viollet test case.

I am interested in your experience (or other users) in using k-epsilon only in one direction and not the other one with these corrections.

Hello Chi-Tuan,

Thank you for the patch on version V7p2. Unfortunately I am not able to download it, an error message popped up saying: "You don't have permission to access /media/kunena/attachments/438/patch_bug_keps_1_direction_170315.tar on this server.".
Could you please send it back again?

Try the same file but zipped, maybe there is a problem with the extension. If it did not work either, I would put the files one by one.

It seems that it does not work either. I put all the individuals files which should be in the sources/telemac3d folder for a v7p2 version.

Hello Chi-Tuan,

Thank you for your patch.
Could you please confirm that "viscke.f" and "viscke_2017-03-16.f" are identical ? Otherwise, could you please tell me which one is the good one?

I tried to put those new Fortran files in C:\opentelemac\V7P2R0\sources\telemac3d and to re-compile Telemac V7P2R0, however I have got an error message (see in attachment).

Could you please help me with this?

Sorry for the delay, I have not seen your last post.

Sorry again, the 2 files are identical. I was too fast, the 7th file to get is point_telemac3d.f (otherwise some variables do not have the good dimensions, maybe you got the error message about that, which I have not seen in your last post).

For the Viollet case, I suggest you to substitute 2 files with the ones attached here, in particular if you only want to use the k-epsilon model in the horizontal directions.
