Hello Cristian,

You can copy and change nearly every subroutine of the sources folder into the Fortran file folder, except:
- the ones used for executables such as gretel_autop or partel,
- the point_ subroutines where memory allocations are done.
In those cases, a full compilation (with option --clean) is mandatory.

This is done in many cases in the examples.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan

Hi Chi-tuan,

Thanks for your reply. That's really helpful.
About the suggestions you talked about before, I have talked with other people who agree that the manual is not really clear, especially the density law number 5. Because of this, if I may, I'll suggest rephrasing a little bit the density laws explanation, just to leave no room for doubts:

• 5: the sediment, temperature, and salinity are not considered in the calculations of density. The density is constant, equal to the value given by the AVERAGE WATER DENSITY parameter (default 1025).

Again, many thanks,
Cristian

Hello Cristian,

Thanks for your suggestion. I have updated the TELEMAC-3D user manual + TELEMAC-3D dictionary/TELEMAC-3D reference manual as well. The modifications will be available in next release (but currently already done in the main).
You can have a look in the enclosed file.
