Improvements:
1. Mostly bug fixes and a little related to 2D interpolation performance
   - 8 interpolation function performance improvements
   - 1 map object performance improvement
2. A little usability improvement when using inverse distance interpolation
   - In particular, when NOT using a maximum distance (i.e. the check box is unchecked) then output the following new progress message:
     "No maximum search distance specified"

Bug fixes:
1. Add points AFTER creating a new point set doesn't work
2. Closed line dragged onto the Mesher's SoftLines doesn't have correct attribute stats
3. All 3 interpolation methods don't work when mapping a 2D Interpolator object (with XYZ data) onto a Rect 2D Scalar object
   - And mapping a mesh onto XYZ points doesn't work (#577)
4. In the 2D Interpolator, when the "Use Max Search Distance" is UNCHECKED... the distance value is still USED
   - Fixed in 4 different situations

Internal changes:
1. Re-implemented a number of things
2. Improved performance of a number of things

EnSim Development Statistics:
- 5 code commits (33 changed paths) to CHyMS from 14 January 2025 to 28 January 2025 (3.12.27-beta)
- 430 unit tests pass (no change)
