open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello all,

Up until now, I have been relying on FUDAA as my cas file processor but it seems that there hasn't been published a version of FUDAA that corresponds to version v7p2. I have tried to specify the dico file manually from the sources, but FUDAA crashes.

Has the development of FUDAA prepro stopped? Are there any alternatives?

Hello all,

Since development has probably ceased after v7p1, does anyone know how to properly set FUDAA to read from the dico files of subsequent versions (v7p2 or the trunk)? It appears that this functionality exists but it does not work for me (it crashes). Has anyone worked this out?

I just try to create a Telemac2d steering file directly starting from a geometry file with the dictionary of the latest version (v7p2) and it works for me.
I use the version 1.3.0-RC12 of fudaa.

I also tried with the trunk version and it doesn't work...

I know there is some adaptation planned in the dictionary in order to adapt it for the editor of Salome-Hydro (EFICAS). Probably the trunk has already been changed...
Nevertheless, except if you want to use a new keyword, you could link to a previous dictionary version, generate your steering file and run the case with the trunk version...

Indeed, you are right. v7p2 works, the trunk doesn't. So, is FUDAA dropped in favor of the SALOME platform editor (EFICAS)? If I recall correctly, SALOME-HYDRO is not available for the Windows platform (yet).

So, at the moment, a tool like FUDAA is missing from the windows platform.

You perfectly well understand the problem...
I know that EFICAS should work as a standalone program so maybe we could use it without salome-hydro which is not available for windows...
Nevertheless, I don't know if Eficas could work on windows (never seen it for the moment).
My blue sky plan would be to integrate Eficas or similar tools inside a Telemac preprocessor for QGIS, but it needs time and money!
We started working on preprocessor but only for culverts and weir for the moment. I hope we could add also the boundary conditions and then the keyword editor...

Fudaa could read geometry file (selafin format).
If your BlueKenue files are at the BlueKenue format then you caoont open thme in Fudaa

Hi

you should first configure Fudaa to work with Telemac (in your case you looks like to work with Reflux)
Go to Edition/Preference and select Telemac in the computation tool
