open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Dear all,

I write my post in english even if the error message is in french. So my problem is :

- I have polygon in ArcMap (representing building).

- I open this layer in Blue Kenue, I save it as i2s layer and i Resample it.

- Then i put my polygon_resampled_.i2s in the hardline to create a mesh.

The problem is when i try to open this mesh with FUDAA, it writes this error message :

" Grave erreur lors de la generation de le frontiere. L'indice 1050 n'a pas de voisin

Avertissement: nombre d'éléments mal orientés : 3"

I made a lot of test :

- try to edit a new polygon layer in arcmap and sometimes it works sometimes not.

- try to not cut polygon with the outline : doesn't work

- try to symplify polygon : doesn't work

If you have any idea to the origin of the problem or a solution to resolve it it will be great.

Your mesh has some unconnected elements.

Post a picture of your mesh or better still, post your t3m file here so we can better help you.

Try zipping the file

I don't manage to add the mesh in attachment even zipping so i put two photo.

- The fist is the entire mesh
- The second is a zoom to a zone where i know there is a problem on the boder but i don't know which problem.

My first suggestion would be to adjust the outline so it doesn't intersect your buildings.
