Hi,
I am using some scatters to assign values to bottom friction in slf file, these scatters include x, y, n. But whenever the run is over, the bottom in the output slf file changes a lot from the input bottom. But theoretically this should not change. These changes cause anomalies in the simulated data, what should I do now?

Hello Yue,

Can you exactly describe what you have run please?
Upload at least your steering file + potential Fortran files to understand what you exactly did when you say "using some scatters to assign values to bottom friction in slf file" or pre-processing tools?
+ input file (scatters including x, y n).

Hello, fan.
Thanks for your reply, here I will upload the preprocessed slf file and the exception that occurs. First I created a new selafin in bluekenue, then added bottom and bottom friction, then interpolated each of them using 2d interpolator. Below is a picture of my slf file, (x, y, n) scatterplot, with variation present in bottom.

Which version of Blue Kenue are you using?
  • The latest (as of 5 March 2025) is BK 3.12.29 - beta... with known faults listed on that page

If it is a Blue Kenue fault, then please post to the Blue Kenue section of this forum rather than the Telemac 2D section.

Kindly... Alan

Hello,
Perhaps I didn't express myself clearly. There is no anomaly in bluekenue, this anomaly problem occurs after the telemac-2d module has finished running. the end of the telemac-2d program's run makes the original bottom change dramatically, even to the point that the terrain in the river appears to be abnormally high or low. What should I do?
