open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hello everyone,

I was reading this topic as i was intrested in doing some deposition with cohesive sediments scenarios.

I did some tests in a small domain, based on the Gouttedo test case, and using the v8p4r0 version. However, i cannot find such high errors as the ones reported by Pierre-Louis.

In the test case i am attaching, we impose a 10 g/L concentration of cohesive sediment with a discharge of 1 m3/s for 4 seconds. The listing displays wrong values of the 'quantity created by source terms' but the final quantity of cohesive sediment is 32.83 together with the 0.15 m that the bottom grew. Combining those two we get an increase in the total quantity of COH sediment of 38.91 which is less than the expected value of 40 but nonetheless not as big as the error reported.

I would like to keep discussing with other users with their respective test cases so that we may find the best posible solution.


It is to note that the v8p4r0 version already has the modification on the TELEMAC2D.f SUBROUTINE that was previously discussed in this topic.
