Using Automatic installer v6p3 I have this error:

Error running cmd.exe /c svn co svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/tags/v6p3r1 "C:\opentelemac-mascaret\v6p3" --username ot-svn-public --password telemac1* : Program ended with an error exit code

I have tried numerous times and continue with this result. The first attempt at using the automatic installer gave an error regarding the internet connection - I did not take note of that error.

The most recent action I have taken was:

svn co svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/validation "C:\opentelemac-mascaret\validation" --username ot-svn-public --password telemac1*

---

This ran for a very long time and completed its process.

I tried the automatic installer again and received the same error as mentioned above.

Please advise for Windows 7.

Hello,

if you manage to complete the download of the source code (svn co ...), then all you need should be the compilation. Just check if the installer created icons on your desktop. Open it and just try compileTELEMAC.py

No new icons on desktop - only some on my programs list [mpich2, Opentelemac prereq (empty), opentelemac source code (empty), tortoisesvn, python2.7]

"compileTELEMAC.py" failed in python and DOS.

Has anyone tried Automatic installer v6p3? I just tried but it didn't work. I am new to Telemac so any help on getting started would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just installed it this week. It is quite a process if something does not work as planned by the auto-installer (AI).

Did you get any response after running the install executer?

Did you read the many different wikis on this site regarding the installation instructions such as where to file the program?

ie... there should be no spaces in the program's file folder path name. "C:\ program files\" is a bad choice.

I do not have any spaces in the path (it didn't ask me for the path anyways. Just installed under the C:\opentelmac-mascaret directory). The pre-requisites seem to be installed fine (metis, tortoise svn, python), but I do not see anything for fortran compiler or svn (expected to see fortran and svn dir). When trying to run the post-install step, it gives the following error

You could put on D disk and it will automatic install on D.
If you have problem during install, just uninstall and reinstall again. Hoping it works, It works on me.

I don't have D drive.

Can you try to run the following command line from a DOS command?
(you need an internet access to run that command line)
