Hi Costas,

I adjusted the CLI file so that the wave boundary along the west and south was sequentially numbered all the way around but it didn't seem to make any difference. The water depth is constant around the model boundary. Also tried increasing the water depth another 20 m but the shadowing effects were still present.

Regards,

Hi Toby, did you manage to sort it out? I have some further things to test, I hope to spare some time later on today.
Costas

Hi Costas,

Unfortunately I wasn't able to resolve the issue and due to time constraints I've opted to switch to SWASH on this particular job. I would still like to try and resolve the issue though as I'm hoping to be able to use ARTEMIS for future projects.

Also struggling a bit with the grid resolution requirements on this particular project. The site is mostly exposed to low-period wind-waves which requires a very fine grid resolution (1-2 m) to meet the minimum 5-7 grid point per wavelength requirement. As the model only runs in scalar this is leading to rather long run-times.

Thanks again for your help.
