BK 3.12.22

My mesh contains 167562 nodes.

I disabled Edit -> T3 Mesh -> Options -> Disable select node only
I tried to select a node
BK froze for 2 minutes.

Alan, I can email you the .t3s for debug purpose but I believe you can easil reproduce by generating a large mesh.

BK 3.12.23 - beta will contain a new Troubleshooting section as per this announcement. Let me know if that helps (or not).

Only 1 graphic card (it caps to 75% when double click to select a node)
A smaller dataset works (500 nodes)

Simple steps to reproduce :
- Create a new closed line (ex : 0,0 200,0 200,200 0,200)
- Create a new T3 Mesh
- Set closed line as outline, set default size to 1 (or less) (with ex, it create 48k nodes and my computer freeze for few seconds)
- decrease size if you computer is powerfull

My computer is i5-8365U with UDH Graphic 620 (laptop).

The Intel UDH Graphics 620 GPU is an integrated graphics unit.

Please try with a graphics card on another computer, likely your integrated card is misbehaving. Not much I can do about that...

I just tried your steps to reproduce (thank you for sharing them) and I have no issue on my laptop selecting one of 40,401 nodes.

Last post's image was too large... trying again...

And with auto-smoothing turned OFF... I get a nice "regular" mesh... and I can select nodes without any freezing.

ggrr... that image looks bad because of the compression being used inside the PNG file...

ah yeah... now we can see that it is, indeed, a nice regular mesh
