Indeed, you are right Christophe, I had a false impression about it. :blush:

So as it stands now, with now special keywords about PRECISION in STBTEL steering file:
I had one SINGLE and one DOUBLE PRECISION file. Both of them converted successfully to the precision corresponding to the source. I just need to check the results in a computation.
