Hi,

I have update run_selafin.py in the trunk version.
I update the sources from turbo87/utm as well (mainly some error hanlding).
And added your files as validation.

You now give utm information in a 24S (zone number + zone letter).

Thanks again.

Hi all,

I am using v8p4. I downloaded ERA5 wind data. I converted that to .slf file. That data is in Lat Long. I want to convert the file to utm coordinate system. I understood that in the previous versions the option was available using runSELAFIN.py. But in v8p4 i unable to find any such file.

How can i do the conversion in V8p4?

Thank you

With regards

Vengat.

Hello,

convertSELAFIN.py was a script written in Python 2. Since the switch to Python 3 scripts (release 8.0), previous scripts have been renamed, changed, improved, etc.

You can have a look at many features in the notebooks, run jupyter-notebook index.ipynb in $HOMETEL/notebooks folder

You may see run_telfile.py script and "Switching between lat/long, spherical, UTM coordinates (options --sph2ll, --ll2sph, --ll2utm, --utm2ll)".

You can also read notebooks in static form directly in:
gitlab.pam-retd.fr/otm/telemac-mascaret/...ipynb?ref_type=heads
or
gitlab.pam-retd.fr/otm/telemac-mascaret/...ipynb?ref_type=heads
e.g.

Hope this helps,

Chi-Tuan
