Hi,
Im doing morphological simulations in GAIA (v8p5 still, but could check whether v9 exhibits the same) and found that the computed bed load transport in the results file differs depending on the chosen variable.
The QS BEDLOAD output gives the ‘physical values’ for the transport
The directional variable SOLID DISCH XY output give values MULTIPLIED by MORFAC.
I tried to look in the source code where this difference originates, but couldnt find it.
I’m using the morphological timescale as output (OUTPUT TIME ACCORDING TO MORPHOLOGICAL FACTOR=YES) and apply only bed load transport (SUSPENSION=NO). But I guess transport rates given in mass per second, shouldnt be multiplied by the MORFAC, since this has no physical meaning.
Has anyone else encountered this? Or was the multiplication intentional?
