I stuggle with coupling Telemac2d and Tomawac since my user-defined Fortran file for the Tomawac part seems to be ignored.
Both individual module cases run without problems in their seperate mode including their individual Fortran adaptations.
I reproduced this problem with the much smaller littoral-example case by
modifying the Tomawac-Fortran-file with an intentional error. Consequently, during compile time the execution should be stopped. But it isn’t. I cross-checked with the Telemac2d-Fortran-file. After manipulating this with an intentional error, execution is stopped immediately.
(/examples/sisyphe/littoral;–> I tried with telemac-tomawac-sisyphe coupling as well as with telemac-tomawac coupling only)
Did you tried to merege the fortran file in one declared in telemac steering file?
In case of coupling, by default, telemac use the tomawac library which is not updated if the tomawac fortran file is only declared in tomawac steerind file
I directly followed your advice and it seems to pass this barrier now.
Sorry, my bad. That was a quite simple solution, but I didn’t expect the T2D and [name removed] codes to be mixable.
I now encounter some minor issues as I was essentially using the same code in T2D and [name removed] for wind interpolation to the mesh. Both files had some kind of different flavour, so I have to bring it together first.
I will post a confirmation on the running system when it is finally solved.
I wanted to get back and give feedback about the coupling of T2D and [name removed] simulations with user defined routines.
Indeed I had to re-arrange the user defined fortran routines within a single file that is adressed from my T2D steering file only. The reference from the [name removed] file is ignored. After doing this my routines were accepted by the coupled [name removed]-simulation.
Cheers and many thanks
Nico
BTW: I updated to version v7p3r1 to run it successfully. I have to admit that I did not validate results yet.
That is a solution but in the example of sisyphe called littoral you will see that you can have a userfortran directory for t2d and another one for [name removed] which avoid to merge files.
This example has been made only in the trunk for now, but it should work in V7P3R1
