How to consider pressure in the example wind_txy

hello,

I want to model wind and pressure values that time and space dependent

The most suitable example for me was [name removed], and I want to consider the air pressure values in a similar way using this example

I tried to input it in a format similar to the attached file, but I couldn’t get the appropriate results(I set the keywords wind and air pressure = yes)

I am curious about the file structure format for considering wind and pressure

Hi

The wind_txy example contains fortran files specifically adapted to match with the file format created for this example…

Then to consider wind and pressure, there is no formal rule. Just a user decision for the format and an adaptation of the fortran to match with this choice…

Thank you,

I want to structure the data in the format as :

time_1, Press_1, [name removed], W_dir_1, Press_2, W_spepd_2, W_dir_1, . . .

time_2, Press_1, [name removed], W_dir_1, Press_2, W_spepd_2, W_dir_1, . . .

.

.

Do I only need to modify the “meteo.f” file to structure this file?

Hello,

(I think) I’ve added the pressure to the [name removed] case as a third column. Please find attached the file f01_wind_Patmo_xy (values are arbitrary). It comes with a couple of changes in the meteo.f file (attached as well). I simply checked that it generates different results than without the pressure.

if it could be of use to someone else.

Have a nice day
