WAQTEL module (heat exchange) in TELEMAC V8P5R0

Hello,

I am working in a hypersaline environment and need to incorporate evaporation into my 3D model. I am attempting to use the WAQTEL module, but it hasn’t worked. I have followed the example file and adapted the CAS file to my mesh and boundary conditions, so this file has already been modified. I am also using the WAQTEL CAS file provided in the example. Is there any additional step I should follow?

I would appreciate any suggestions if you have worked with WAQTEL previously.

Hello,

Please the rules of this forum, in particular:

  • better describe what you mean by “it hasn’t worked”: Error message? Bad results? Figure?

  • use the latest release as bugs could have been fixed, new features appeared. Currently, the latest tag is 9.1.0.

In TELEMAC, evaporation is modelled by negative rain.
