Hello everyone,

thinking about some basic formulas and looking at their implementation, I want to ask if someone can help with a litte information.
Is there anywhere condensed information about the values of natural constants and global parameters like densities (and where they are used)?

Die Units are SI, that I know but for the gravity is it defined as +9.81... or -9.81... m/s² ?

Is that so for all routines or do some expect the opposite sign?
(maybe due to some version changes or different authors?)

Right now I look at subroutine coef, where g is used, so I wonder about this.

kind regards,
csee

Hello,

G is a keyword GRAVITY ACCELERATION and is positive. For other constants there is no specific rule, some are keywords and some are hardcoded. For example k-epsilon constants (including the Karman constant) are hardcoded in subroutine cosake.f in Telemac-2D.

With best regards,
