Hi! I wanted to create the Telemac user manual using pdflatex as typesetter (out of the pdfTeX package 3.1415926-1.40.10-2.2, the latest I believe). The process is error-free but at the end I get a 5-page document (attached). Similar story with the reference manual: then I get a half-empty document there too. I am working with TELEMAC v6p3r2 (revision 5792).

Could someone please double-check that the TeX file can be completely processed with a LaTeX interpreter?

I used pdflatex from the command line interface as well as pdfLaTeX, luaLaTeX and xeLaTeX from the TeXworks suite, to no avail. So it seems to me that there's some glitch inside the TeX code, rather than a limitation in processing it. Apparently it fails to call the contents that are stored elsewhere. Happy to be corrected! Tips welcome.

Hello,

apparently you will not find much text in the tex files e.g. those of the Telemac-2D documentation.

Best regards,
Clemens

Thanks for enclosing the user manual. That's a good helping hand.

Do you mean that all other manuals -- both of TELEMAC and of the other components -- are going to be downloadable? This is certainly a lurking need and, without a question, I would support such an initiative. The open-source code without readily and broadly accessible documentation cannot help solve much.

Best wishes,

Hello

We are doing our best to update the documentation of all the components of the Telemac-Mascaret system. A major part of them will appear in the same time than the next release, i.e. in few days.

With my kind regards
