Hello,

I'm a new user of TELEMAC. I'm still at the installation/compilation part. While I was following the installation_notes, I noticed that the compiling_the_entire_telemac_system and the running_modules sections are currently empty.

I'm wondering where I could find the full documentations for these two steps (or is it that simple it doesn't require one ?)
Also, where can I find the MASCARET documentation as it seems that most of the doc is dedicated to the other tools ?

Thank you very much,

Antoine Thiboult

Hi Antoine

In fact, if you're under windows and if you use the automatic installer, averythings should work well and you should obtain a compiled version of Telemac without any complex intervention.

About the running process, I think the users manual of each module are the right document for understand how to run telemac.

Hope this helps
Regards
Christophe

Unfortunately, I'm a unix user (ubuntu) and i'm not familiar (yet) with fortran.

Thank you for your answer,

Antoine

Hi Antoine

As you are a Linux User, I suppose you're familiar with some manual installations.
So you should manually install SVN and gfortran (you could see later for MPICH and Metis which are only requested for parallel computation)
Then you could follow the steps of the page

Hope this helps

HI,

For your information the makefile for metis can be generated by running:
cmake .
in the metis folder.

By the way a detailed installation manual is currently being written should be available soon.

Hope ti helps.
