Hello,

Hum, we do have some coupling between Mascaret and Telemac-2D, longitudinal and lateral, and Mascaret will be more integrated in the package in the next version 7.2, but I do not know exactly what will be available. Maybe other developers could give informations on what is scheduled...

My personal opinion (not shared by everybody) is that when you start a study from scratch you can do all in 2D and thus you do not have to bother with coupling models, with all the assumptions, iterations, and time step limitations it implies, not to speak of parallelism. It is for me a very cumbersome approach.

For example The Canadian Hydraulic Center have done, with Telemac-2D only, already quite a few years ago, computations of floods during several months, over 2000 square kms of land including an impressively large network of rivers and streams.
