this happened only in parallel mode:

OPENING: T2ATMB-vent2020.slf
ERROR -1 DURING CALL OF BIEF_OPEN_FILES:OPEN_MESH
ERROR TEXT: UNKNOWN ERROR

I use 8 cores but I found only 3 partitions, all of them are empty.

So clearly a problem in the partition...
Try to split only and have a look on log files

I did the partition manually (running code partel) and only one partition file was created and it looks correct.

I tried to use partel of version v8p1r1 instead of one of version v8p3r1 and I got the 8 files.

So it looks like there is a problem with the last version.
