open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

Hi everybody,

I am making my own little hpc-cluster aiming to use telemac with. As a beginner it is recommended to install rock cluster distribution for making the cluster. The problem is Rock is based on CentOS and there is no config file or configuration for CentOS or for Rock in telemac v8p4r0 ... or maybe I am wrong... so
is it possible to run telemac (installation process and execution of job or simulation) on Rock Cluster Distribution?
which linux distribution for hpc-cluster do you think is the best (or almost) for a beginner like me.

Hi Josias,

I am not familiar with CentOS based clusters, but since we are using a RHEL based cluster at EDF and considering that CentOS is very similar to RHEL, I guess you can use the cronos.gnu.dyn configuration from our systel.edf.cfg configuration file (or cronos.intel.dyn if you use ifort instead of gfortran). Feel free to come back here if you need help to understand the configuration in question.

but after several attempt I was not able to install Centos7 or 6 so I installed ubuntu 20.04 server. now I can run telemac simulation but I can't use multiple nodes.
V8p4, S10.gfortran.dyn.
I am a bit lost!
