Hello,

I wish to install the v8p4r0 version on ubuntu 22.04.03 LTS :


* I started with a sequential configuration ;

both configuration and compilation achieved to "My work is done" message ;

but got an error when running test cases :

* Then I applied the same sequential configuration on v8p2r0 :

both configuration and compilation achieved to "My work is done" message ;

and got the same error than v2p4r0 when running test cases :

* Then I applied a parallel configuration on v8p2r0 and v8p4r0 based on the openmpi-debian model :

both configuration and compilation achieved to "My work is done" message ;

and got the same error when running test cases on both versions :

* Also, I tried a parallel configuration based on the mpich-ubuntu model :

both configuration and compilation achieved to "My work is done" message ;

but the error I got after launching a test case is different from the previous ones.

Please find in the attached archives the configuration files I used for both versions.

Dear Christophe,

I finally achieved the installation and can run well T2D and T3D solvers in parallel mode.


I don't know why...but when I translated the following sentence from the website :

" If you intend to use only one configuration of the TELEMAC-MASCARET system, e.g. gfortranHPC, you can add this line to your ~/.bashrc:
source $HOME/telemac-mascaret/configs/pysource.gfortranHPC.sh" ,

I though that I can run the solver without sourcing the environment from .bashrc and then try several versions.


But in my case, it is mandatory to source from .baschrc, otherwise I cannot run the solver.

On ubuntu, depending how you configure your environement.bashrc could be not executed...
