TOPIC: Rainfall with Subroutine meteo.f

Hi,

I am looking for an example of a rainfall simulation varying in time. My simulation is runnig if I use the keyword RAIN OR EVAPORATION and has good solutions, but I've got a rain hydrograph, that I want to use. I found the example wind, which should be similar to a rainfall simulation. In the t2d_wind.cas file is the information: "See Fortran file to have an example of subroutine meteo." But in the t2d_wind.f file I can't find the subroutine meteo.

Can anyone help me?

Thank you.

Hi,

In the next version (7.2, to be release later this year I think?) you will find a rainfall-runoff model which offers the possibility to define rainfall in different ways, one of them being reading a hyetograph from a file.

This rainfall-runoff model is already available on the trunk. Look at subroutine /telemac2d/runoff_scs_cn.f. There is also a new test case in examples/telemac2d/pluie.

Meanwhile, the only way to define rainfall as a hyetograph in current version is to program this in subroutine prosou.f (look at the RAIN or EVAPORATION part, variable RAIN_MPS that you can define as a function of time). There should be some example on the forum?

Best regards

Thank you Pilou.

How can I find the trunk?
Does somebody know, when the version 7.2 exactly will be released?

Best regards.

Hi!

Look in the Download section of the homepage:
www.opentelemac.org/index.php/sources-svn

You can download the sources from the trunk with a SVN client, at the following address:
svn.opentelemac.org/svn/opentelemac/trunk

Regarding the release date, maybe developers can answer that?

Best regards

Hi
We (developers) are currently trying to consolidate the version in order to launch the full validation.

Our goal is to deliver the version for the next User Conference.

Hi,

so the next version may come in october. Very nice.
When I start the download from the repository, I can't use my normal username and password. Is there another password?
By using TortoiseSVN I get the error "Access forbidden".
Can somebody help me?

Best regards.

Hi,

when I try to start the simulation of the example in the trunk I get the following error: could not find the following keyword in the selected dictionary file: RAINFALL-RUNOFF MODEL.
Is there no way to simulate the example by v7p1?

Thank you.
Best regards.
