Hard to say without more information.
We need the full case to investigate the problem.

Maybe you will have more information in the log-file (but you should have a look on all of them to see which one is different).

It could also be interesting to check if the crash is dependent to the number of sub domains. This means if the crash occurs whatever the number of processor is.
