open TELEMAC-MASCARET The mathematically superior suite of solvers

My model is running well but not during the good period of time I want...

As you can see on my cas file attached the original date of time is 2015;02;01 but the result file (selafin) start running the 2015;03;04.

Does someone has an idea where does it come from, please?

Hi Jonathan,

It could be because you have a previous computation file (hotstart I guess) which has a duration that the program could be considering. Try to set the keyword INITIAL TIME SET TO ZERO=true. That should work.

I have exactly the same problem as Jonathan : I fixed an 'ORIGINAL DATE OF TIME', as well as, an 'ORIGINAL HOUR OF TIME', to know: 2014;08:19 and 00;00;00.
Nevertheless, the model is running but with an origin on the 13/07/1972 at 17h15.

As José said, I tried to set the keyword INITIAL TIME SET TO ZERO = true, but the result is exactly the same.

Could someone help me?

I do not know what could be happening, I do not work with those KEYWORDS. If I could take a look at your steering file would be helpful.

don't know exactly where the problem is but this is a python problem.
If you look into parserSELAFIN.py, you will see that this date is harcoded in a variable DATETIME which normally should be use if the date is not given...

Thanks for your help, but it seems not to be only a python issue, because when I open the 3D results file with Bluekenue, no date is defined.

It seems that when no date is defined then parserSELAFIN.py defines DATETIME as [1972,07,13,17,15,13].

What I don't know is : why TELEMAC v7p2r1 doesn't take into account the keyword 'ORIGINAL DATE OF TIME' ? Has the keyword changed ?

I think the issue comes from the new version v7p2r1, because my model is running with the right date on version v7p0r1.

Did you run in scalar mode or in parallel?
If possible, could you check if you have the same problem in both mode?

I tried in scalar mode on your advice and it's working properly.

What do I have to do to make it work in parralel?
