Hello Elsa,

I had a quick look at your case, and first I advise you either to increase the maximum number of iterations for the solver (about 300) or to slightly decrease the time step (about 0.5s).
Concerning the weirs, and as clearly explained in the user manual, since the v6p1 version, the numbering to provide in the weirs data file is the global number of the weirs in the order of the boundary points. It should be better with this modification.

I hope it helps !

Regards,
Laurent

Thank you for your help!
When I use 1 processor, my simulation is working but its very very slow (50min to simulate 3min :( ).
When I use 48 processors, its not working... my log are not recorded.

Do you know if the "weir file" are only for sequential simulation and not for parallel simulation?

Thank you!
Elsa

Ok, and did you try to change the numbering of the weirs (global numbering) in the weirs data file ?
With this modification, it works for me in parallel in v7p3r0.

Ive installed v7p0 and tryed to simulate with it and it seems to work in parallel without changing my weir file :)
in your simulation do you have that?
LECSNG : NOMBRE DE DIGUES : 12

I have been told that you can find discharge on weir but i can find it.
Do you know where it is recorded?

Thank you!

Ok, nice! but as to change of version, I advised you to install the latest version instead.
You have to change the numbering of the weirs if you want to have right results! otherwise the connection between your points will be wrong and the discharge may be applied at the wrong locations, somewhere in your domain.

Yes, I also have this line written, it means that the model correctly reads your weirs data file and tells you how many weirs have been found.

You can directly see the discharge with the output variables Q,I,J. Don't forget that the discharge depends on the upstream level (weir submerged or not).
I advise you to read the section 13.1 of the user manual and to have a look at the example called "weirs"

Im sorry i think I dont get what you mean with the numbering of the weirs. Ive the number of nodes at the frontier increasing and then decreasing.
i dont see whats wrong...
I ll send you my last weir_file

No, I think you're wrong. As I told you, you have to put the global number of the weir points in the order of the boundary, not the boundary points numbering.
For your first weir, it should be something like that:

Take the time to read the manual and look at the example carefully please !

Dear Elsa,

How did you create the mesh assigning weir values? Is there any Bluekenue tutorial?
