Dear telemac users,
I've done 9 runs using the keyword 'computation continued = true' with the help of the last record for each new run. The full run is too long (duration = O(10^10 * dt) and I'm thinking this make 'Surprinsgly' the Matlab routine telheader.m giving me a wrong DT from the run N°5 (3584 rather than 3600 seconds).
Doses any one knows how to deal with this.Is it only a bug in telheader.m ? these file are too big to handle them with bluekenue.
further the telemac log for the mass balance shows some stars (*******) for time in days and in seconds rather the real values, I guess this happen when these number are too long?
Any helps is welcome
Thank you in advance
Mourad

Hi Mourad,

I think it's not a bug in telheadr, but rather a non correct results file. Are you sure your 5th simulation ended correctly?
Can you read the following files (6 to 9)?

Laurent

Hi Laurent,
Everything gone okay for the 6th and 7th simulation and this is the case for any run. How can telheadr display a DT=3584 rather than 3600, this is realy strange cause my dt is of 20 sec and the graphic period is 180, this means an iteration is stored every 3600 sec !

Hi Mourad,

telheadr computes the time step DT from the first and the second time records. Can you check if these 2 values (T1 and T2) are correct ? especially T1 in the case of a restart simulation.
What does telheadr return for the other parameters of the file header ? number of time steps (NSTEPS), number of variables (NBV), number of nodes and elements (NPOIN/NELEM), starting date (IDATE)...

If you try displaying one of the result variables (water depth or velocities), are they correct for the first time step ?

Regards,
Laurent
