Hi,

I have been building a telemac 2D simulation that aims to produce tide harmonics to use for tidal prediction. I have managed to get a simulation running using the NEA tide example as a basis for my own bath on the South Coast of the UK. Looking at the output file I see there is tide U and V component velocities so the model is doing something.

Anyway I was hoping to get some amplitude and phases out of the model, even if they are rubbish but so far all I get is zeros for both periods that I have added in the cas file.

Can someone take a look at the attached and see if I have the syntax right?

The model is running in 60 second time steps and runs for two weeks. I have asked it to analyse the whole model run for M2 and S2.

As I understand it periods in the cas file should refer to the number of time steps rather the actual period of time itself? e.g. M2 is 12 hours 25 mins so in this case I put down the number of time steps which would be the number of minutes?

Also the time range for analysis should be in seconds rather than time steps?

I would be grateful to know that the cas file is right and my issue is elsewhere.

Many Thanks
