Friction has specific treatment so it's not a good example.
The idea is to make the same kind of modification as it's done in rainfall example to use the value in the geometry file

Sorry, but I am strugling to find the comparability between rainfall example 'CN' and Viscosity. In my previous computation file, I have the viscocity as Viscosity (D) and not private variable. Which fortran file should I use as a User fortran file for making the modifications?

For me, private variable are accessible if they exists in the geometry file, not in the previous computation file...
So use the value of the previous computation file to add the viscosity in the geometry file and use the same way of management as in the rainfall example.
Name it in the stering file and access the value in corvis...
