Dictionary is a file already available in the telemac distribution and you don't have to generate it.
You followed the tutorial but "baxter_steady_sm.cas" file is not one of the file of the baxter tutorial so this mean you modified one of the example of the baxter tutorial.
During the modification you probably change the spelling of one of the keyword which leads to the error...
Even you're not familiar with Telemac, I'm sure you could read the error message which is written.
Personally, in your screenshot I see:
Unknown keyword STATEDISCHARGE CURVE FILE in steering file baxter_steady_sm.cas
This keyword doesn't exist in the original file of baxter tutorial...
As I said, all keywords are compared to a dictionary, for telemac2d, it's the file telemac2d.dico which could be found in the sources files of telemac2d.
looking in the dictionary, I can confirm this keyword doesn't exist...
With a bit of curiosity, looking for the keywords used in the tutorial example, or looking in the dictionary, I was able to find a similar keyword:
STAGE-DISCHARGE CURVES FILE which will be accepted by telemac...
Once again, a lot of message are written during the telemac execution. This is not for fun, just help to identify the problems.
Changing STAGE-DISCHARGE CURVES FILE to STATEDISCHARGE CURVE FILE is probably a wrong manipulation during the steering file edition but this is sufficient to leads to error and usually, the message is also sufficient for users to identify where the error is...
Take some time to reads the various manuals before trying to use it even with a good tutorial!
