I am conducting hydraulic calculations for a straight channel using Telemac2D. A constant flow rate of 30 m³/s is applied upstream, and a rating curve is set for the downstream boundary. However, the water is not flowing out from the downstream boundary, and the calculation is not working properly. I have attached the analysis files. Could you provide advice on which part needs to be corrected?

Hi,

Do you mean that the discharge is fluctuating at the downstream boundary? It's an inital conditinos issue. Starts with shorter similation period and printout interval and see how you can tweeak the start-up of the model.

Cheers, Patrick

Dear Patrick,
Thank you for your kind response! I apologize for the delay in expressing my gratitude, as I noticed your email late. Thanks to your answer, I was able to run the simulation without any issues. I truly appreciate your help.
Best regards,
Ryota
