I have a pre-made quadrilateral mesh data. Does Telemac-2D support the calculation of quadrilateral grids? If so, what parameters should I set in the CAS file, and how can I create an SLF file that contains the quadrilateral grid? I saw in the Telemac-3D examples that quadrilateral grids can be calculated using the element parameter, but when I open the SLF file of this example using BK, I still see a triangular grid. Why is that? :pinch:

Good day.

Based on my review of the documentation, it appears that quadrilateral grids cannot be computed with Telemac-2D.

I am not a Telemac-3D user, so I may be mistaken. However, I have not found any mention of quad grids in the Telemac3d validation manual.
Could you please tell me which examples are you talking about ?

In the Telemac-3D CAS configuration file, there is a keyword ELEMENT, and when this keyword is set to TETRAHEDRA, does it mean that quadrilateral meshes can be computed? This configuration can be seen in the example t3d_tetra.cas from the tetra example. However, when I open the SLF file of this example in BK, I still see a triangular mesh.

No because element is just splitting the triangular prisms into 2 tetrahedra which are just triangle-base pyramid, so there are no quad polygons.
